Objective Modula-2 Platform Information
Objective Modula-2 is a cross-platform project targeted at any platform with Objective-C and Cocoa or GNUstep support. The Objective Modula-2 compiler will have two independent code generators:
- an Objective-C source code generator
- an LLVM IR code generator
Objective-C Source Code Generator
The Objective-C source code generator is currently being revised due to changes to both the syntax and semantic layers. The generated output can be used on any platform that has an Objective-C compiler and associated runtime library available.
LLVM IR Code Generator
The LLVM IR code generator is work in progress. When it is completed, the generated code can be used on any platform targeted by the LLVM compiler back-end. For more information please visit the LLVM project website.
